This thread will be a ladder play thread.

It will be a bit different from my other threads as it will start with an account of $250.00 and I will bet very aggressively with this account in terms of bet size to try and climb the ladder as quickly as possible.

I will have 5 bets of $50 available to use and will see how quickly I can grow the account or possibly even blow it up with 5 losing bets in a row. Profits will be rolled into the next bets. I am using only one bookmaker for this thread so it mirrors a true account, so you will notice some bets at different odds to the odds I post in my other threads.

There are some basic rules I use for money management:
Bet size never to exceed 50% of account size unless I get down to last $50
Original bet of at least $50 to come out of all winning bets but rest can be re-invested into next bet.

First bet:

WTA New Haven - Larsson @ $2.28 x $50 = $114

Account balance: $200

Have a ladder bet for today

MLB - Royals @ $2.12 x $104.88 = $222.34
Balance: $300

How can you not bet on the Royals at home at these odds? They are the hottest team in baseball at the moment and at home even they are 40-21, which is pretty amazing considering how average they've been this year.
Pineda has also been very average in his last few outings and with Royals hot bullpen Gee only needs to pitch okay to give Royals every chance to win this one.

Next bet will be $122.34, $147.34 or $172.34 depending on how aggressive I want to be and how I feel about the play.

If anyone wants to start following this system, you can start at anytime by just starting the first bet with $50 or whatever amount you feel comfortable with and then removing that original bet size or more as the account grows.

The other option is to wait till I lose a bet and then start when I start back at a $50 bet.

US Open Women's

Konjuh @ $3.00 x $120 = $360.00
Balance: $500.00

Going to keep riding the Konjuh bandwagon. This is actually a very good match up for Konjuh. Pliskova is a hard hitting & serving player but she doesn't really have much else and the way she hits the ball leaves little margin for error. Konjuh has a better all court game, moves better and has just as a potent forehand and serve. Bit surprised at the odds here, most bookies have it around the $3 mark, I think it should be more around $2.30-$2.50 so there is some value available in my opinion.

Ladder play for today:

17/09/16, 9:15am(QLD): WTA Quebec City
Martincova @ $2.70 x $55 = $148.50
Balance $450.00

On Martincova again, keep finding value at the odds on offer. On paper there really isn't much between these two, Pegula is probably the better player but Martincova has played and beaten the better players so far and has also had a day off, which helps considering she came through qualifying and had 2 hard fought 3 set wins in the main draw. I also think Martincova has a clear fitness advantage or Pegula so the longer the match goes the more I favour Martincova.

Just going stick to the plan and not get greedy and bet just the $55. Especailly since I have 2 units on this play already.

Ladder play for tomorrow.

19/09/16 @ 1pm - WTA Toyko
Bencic @ $2.46 x $98.50 = $242.31
Balance: $500

Amazing odds for a player who has beaten Wozniacki in straight sets the last 3 times they have played. The reason Wozniacki is such a heavy favourite is because she finally found some form at the US open this year. Both women have struggled this year but Bencic took 2 months off after Wimbledon and started to look better in the US open herself. Both ladies play well at this tournament and I see $2.52 as extreme value.

My first ladder bet for the year. Please note ladder bets are performed with the same bookie as it is a separate account so odds will differ from my daily plays.

Glushko @ $2.75 x $50 ($137.50 return).
Balance: $450

Glushko is a good chance here, especially at good odds of $2.50+. Neither lady is any more then a journeyman type player but Glushko matches up well against Erakovic.
