    NBA Playoff 2016

NBA: Miami Heat - Charlotte Hornets

    Recommendation: Heat – 4

    Odds: 1.869

    Bookmaker: Pinnaclesports / Sportmarket

My pick will hardly surprise you. I expected some 2-3 points bigger spread here and willingly take this one.

Teams split season series 2-2, each winning one home and one road game. This is a play-off game though and as stated previously, experience makes a great deal of the winning process, not pure skills only. That’s exactly why Raptors failed again last night (go Pacers!) and I see Hornets’ in just the same situation. Kemba Walker had an excellent regular season but all the pressure is now on his shoulders and everybody expects him to lead his team. Easier said than done when you play against a future Hall of Famer in Dwayne and a pesky lightning like Goran The Dragon J Raptors analogy again, DeRozan and Kyle Lowry failed to accept that mental challenge yesterday, and they’re both better players than Kemba (talking of pure skillset).

Batum will play through a twisted ankle and I hope this will slow him down on the offensive end. Charlotte really need his boost from 3-point line and his smooth passing abilities. Heat should definitely win the war in the paint too, Hassan / Amare have clear advantage over Zeller / Jefferson on both ends of the floor.

All in all, Heat just need Dwayne plus at least one among Dragic / Joe Johnson to bring their average numbers in scoring in order to secure the win. Great probability to happen actually because of the experience we’ve been talking about. Actually this is the main reason I decided to skip trying UNDER 200 points as a second bet here. They’ve passed this line only once in the four regular season games and it really seems a bit high for the opening game of the series. I guess oddsmakers are cautious with Heat catching fire and/or Goran – Kemba start outrunning each other.

The prop bets, Dwayne to score over 20.5 points at around 2.10 looks like a nice thing. Dwayne will get Spoelstra’s confidence to shoot all the clutch possessions and will probably receive quite a few trips to the foul line too

Dwayne Wade got better when Lebron quits Miami. Dwayne Wade can play more of his move than before since his the Top star of the Heats. It's a nice team to bet on and since the Heat are much more stronger can put your money on it.

NBA: Houston Rockets - Golden State Warriors

    Recommendation: GSW - 5

    Odds: 1.909

    Bookmaker: Pinnaclesports / Sportmarket

I like this play even with the uncertainty around Steph Curry. Watching him practicing on Houston’s court, making 3-pointer after 3-pointer, everything seemed completely OK with him by the way. If he plays, it will be a big bonus obviously, but this spread (-5 – 6 points) is more like Rockets will ‘’only’’ have to do with Curry-less Warriors. It should still be a double digit win, or at least 7-8 points with the late possession foul calls.

This will be arguably the first case in history when Charles Barkley side with GSW in his prognosis. Sir Charles completely scratched Houston’s chances for even one win in the series, and I tend to agree with him. Rockets are obviously falling apart, Dwight will have a new home in the next season, and even staying Harden is not too interested in this series.

GSW at the other hand, and especially Steve Kerr, would love to sweep the Rockets and have a nice rest for Curry’s ankle and the rest of the starters of course. Their next opponent, Clippers most likely, will be much tougher, so any additional day of rest is of high value indeed

That is a good recommendation choosing Golden State Warriors over Houston Rockets. But Steph Curry has an injury and this would make me want to reconsider Houston Rockets. It would be good if GSW would win this round over Rockets.

I got Spurs in 7 - I can't see the Thunder closing it out.

My money won't ever be going against the Warriors though if Curry is hitting like this!

Just to add thinking Miami would be on the finals is also a big mistake. Man so much unexpected happening at the Finals. I think this will be CLE vs GSW on the finals.

I could not believe it the my bet on spurs lost. Now it's Curry time vs OKC and OKC is on the lead. I am now thinking I should put my money on them.

No wonder GSW is the favorite. They are trying to defend their title and what to accomplish a back to back champion. But we will see what Lebron can do about it. My bet will be on GSW for game 1.

GSW will steal 1 game in Cleveland. They'll win the series in 5. That's what I'm betting on.

GSW is on the lead 2-1 but since game 4 is at Cleveland Lebron might be heating up. The I expecting it Cleveland would also win this one given the performance they show on game 3. But in the end of this Finals GSW will still win together with my winning money.

My nightmare comes true. Now we will face a Do or Die match on game 7. I'm still crossing my finger and also my bet with GSW.

So happy for Lebron James, he finally won the title with the Cleveland Cavaliers! He has 3 champion rings at 31 like Michael Jordan =)

Even I don't like how the game result ended but still it's a great game to watch. We are so intense who will win the match. But in the end the Cleveland Cavaliers win the game together with my friend winning with our betting game.

Yes even GSW lost the Championship it still a great game. Lebron just made his own legacy but pulling his team from a 3-1 to win and be the Champion. All I can say is Game 7 is their best game in their series.

Kevin Durant to GSW?! What?! it will be so shamefully , when you coudn't beat the Warriors in play-off and you do the weak step - you moving to Golden State. Can't beat GSW - move to GSW.

one more sensational news for GSW! Ray Allen can go to Warriors and there will be fantastic splash-trio!
But CaVs could sign D. Wade and this could be the great answer!

Yes KD is now part of the Warriors. This will be the team to beat next season. I am predicting they will emerge as NBA 2017 champion.

Tim Duncan retires... One more legend, one more BIG player, who played all his career in San Antonio Spurs - 19 years. He didn't go for money to other clubs, he just calmly were doing his work! 5 champions rings like Kobe Bryant. So sad that we will not see their playing again. Who will be next - Garnett, Carter?
    pity

Tim Duncan is too old to continue playing. He already made his legacy with the Spurs. It's time to bow down because he will be remembered .

76-ers could give Ginobili $30 M for 2 years, but he stays with Spurs this season for $14 M. Really it's hard to see Manu in another team shirt

Manu Ginobili will continue playing until the end with the Spurs. Money cant buy the loyalty of Manu with Spurs. I'm seeing he will only play for a couple of years before saying goodbye to NBA.

A little bit about the summer league.
ben Simmons is good for 76-ers, but i more impressed by Ingram playing for Lakers. Even Durant said that he sees in Ingram young KD

Derozan had an offer from Lakers , as we could expect, but he rejected it because of his opinion that LAL's playing level is not so high as Demar wanted!

Someday he will be shock on how the Lakers will rise again. If the Lakers will be able to use more teamwork I believe they can make it. I'm sure someone would step up and rise the Lakers flag again just wait and see.

They will have the great and bright future with Clarkson , Russell and Ingram. But i understand Derozan decision. Move from team who has opportunity to play in conference final to team , which suffered last 2 years.

Dion Waiters to Miami Heat. Definitely OKC is doing hugely bad transfer politics this summer by losing KD, Ibaka and now Waiters

OKC is in big trouble this coming season. When KD becomes a warrior it slap their face. Now more of their players are abandoning their ship they will surely sink this coming season.

If it's not this year, i'm sure Russell Westbrook will leave the team too. For the champions ring , not for money! Like KD.

Who needs more money if you will have a champions ring. Becoming a champion will be one of your greatest legacy it wont disappear unlike money. It is priceless that's why Lebron join the Heats just to be a champion.
