    Plays for 13/09/16

    Rangers @ $2.15 (Bet365) x 1.5 units
    Rangers -1.5 @ $3.15 (Bet365) x 0.5 units

Rangers starter Perez has been pretty good in his last 2 starts, he also has a 5-3 record with a 2.45 ERA against the Astros but did lose the last start against them. Fister on the other hand is in a horrible run, giving up 15 earned runs & 26 hits in just over 12 innings with only 3 strike outs. He is also 0-5 in last 7 starts at Minute Maid Park and gave up 7 earned runs and 10 hits in 3 & 2/3 innings last start against the Rangers.

        Today's plays

        Red Sox -1.5 @ $2.30 (Bet365) x 2 = 4.6 units
        Royals -1.5 @ $2.30 (Bet365) x 2 = 4.6 units
        Multi - Royal -1.5 & Red Sox -1.5 @ $5.28 (Bet365) x 1/2 unit = 2.64 units

4.5 units outlayed for possible return of 11.84 units (7.34 units profit)

Important you structure bets so either bet wins it covers the outlay on all 3! So adjust units size slightly depending on price you can get from your bookie.
Red Sox and Royals both are the better teams and have the better pitchers. Hopefully that translates into decent wins by both.

Poor day to day going 0-3 with a -4.5 units loss. Was due for a bad day, but I deviated from my normal bets and payed the price.

            Play for tomorrow.

            Yankees @ $2.65 x 1.5 units = 3.97
            Yankees -1.5 @ $4.50 x 0.5 units = 2.25

The odds are out of whack here. Yankees are big outsiders due to the fact Kershaw is pitching for the Dodgers. But Kershaw is having his second start since 2 month out with a back injury. His 1st start back wan't anything to write home about lasting only 3 innings and 66 pitches. He will be on a pitch count as well, and with the Yankees having the better bullpen and the odds should be a bit closer.

              Play number 2 for today.

              Rangers @ $2.25 x 1.5 units (Crownbet) = 3.37 units
              Rangers -1.5 @ $3.30 x 0.5 units (Bet365) = 1.65 units

Rangers have dominated the Astros this year to the tune of 15-3. Astros starting pitcher is making only his 8th overall start and last outing against the Rangers he gave up 5 runs and 8 hits in only just over 4 innings. Rangers start Holland is 5-2 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 starts against Astros.

Not a good day. 0-4, losing 4 units. Been a bad couple of days for my baseball bets, look to bounce back over the next couple of days.

Hoping for some better results on with the MLB today. 2 plays.

                  Angels @ 2.30 x 1.5 units (Bet365) = 3.45 units
                  Angels -1.5 @ $3.75 x 0.5 units (Bet365) = 1.87 units

                  Cardinals @ $2.00 (Unibet) x 1.5 units = 3 units
                  Cardinals -1.5 @ $2.85 x 0.5 units = 1.42 units

4 bets with 4 units outlay.

Angels are due for a win and they have a great opportunity to get one against Dickey who has really struggled this season. Trout who is in a HR funk is 6 for 13 against Dickey and the Angels offence might get going in this game. Weaver has a 11-2 record with a 3.31 ERA and a good WHIP of 1.07 against the Blue Jays in 14 starts could give the Angels every chance as well.

The Giants have been horrible since the All-star break and young Luke Weaver has been good in his six starts for the Cardinals. Moore is nothing special and Cardinals have one of the best offences in MLB this season.

                      Rangers @ $2.74 (Pinnacle) x 1.5 units = 4.11 units
                      Rangers -1.5 @ $4.25 x 0.5 units = 2.12 units

I don't normally bet on play off games but just see the odds here as too generous. Blue Jays have dominated the series so far but the Rangers are a good team and are only 4 from 37 with runners in scoring positions in the first 2 games. If they get as many runners in scoring positions in this game as they have in the past 2 I think they will win it. Lewis is an experienced pitcher and will put in a solid performance and Sanchez was lit up by Texas during the season. I also love betting against streaks, Blue Jays on a 5 game winning streak and Rangers on a 4 game losing streak.

Rangers tried hard but lost in the 10th innings. My record in extra innings games is terrible, I think I'm something like 2-12, as soon as a game goes to extra innings I know its a loss, hahaha.
