    Japanese Grand Prix

The Formula 1 schedule moves into a more convenient time slot for those on the East coast, with the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend. Sebastian Vettel's title is all but wrapped up, and a decent result here would see him confirmed as the 2011 World Champion. Recent history suggests he will do so, with the German driver having won the race from pole position last year. Behind Vettel is a huge scrap for second place, with the battle between McLaren-Mercedes team mates Hamilton and Button arguably the most interesting. The driver standings are currently as follows:

    1 Sebastian Vettel (RBR-Renault) 309
    2 Jenson Button (McLaren-Mercedes) 185
    3 Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) 184
    4 Mark Webber (RBR-Renault) 182
    5 Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes) 168
    6 Felipe Massa (Ferrari) 84
    7 Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) 62
    8 Michael Schumacher (Mercedes) 52

Below are the latest race odds (subject to change):

I completely missed qualifying due to the rwc, which sucked, because I love in-play qual betting. Looks like I'll have to tape the race because it overlaps the Springboks v Wallabies this afternoon.
