    Sportsbet

Australia Sports Betting has published a full review of Sportsbet. The Betting Agencies section provides additional reviews and comparisons of betting agencies that are suitable for Australians.

    Below is our conclusion:

Sportsbet is an excellent betting service. In an earlier review we described the interface as “simplistic.” Now that the website has been given a complete overhaul, the interface is modern and feature-packed, with strong support for multi betting. At the same time, it is still easy to use and intuitive, which makes Sportsbet a good option for beginners. The betting selection is excellent, in particular for Australian sports, which makes Sportsbet suitable as a sole membership. Because the website uses the same interface, and from what we can tell, the same odds as IASbet, we recommend you check out both websites to see which one takes your fancy.

Always has been and always will be the best. Have read stories of limiting since the paddy power partnership but i have not experienced this myself and find it hard to believe that they would do such a thing. Sportsbet has me for life. Best market variety and often has better odds and now more bet types.

Sportsbet was the first bookie I ever used, and I still rate them. Like gonzo said, good variety and bet types.

TERRIBLE DO NOT USE! They do not even honour their own terms and conditions for payouts.

I find the Sportsbet website to be the easiest to use and they seem to be the most responsive (you don't have to wait too long) when you ring to make live bets. There are times when they have turned down some of my bets but in general they do take very high limits.

Yeah its not bad - I think the more internationals we start seeing the better the odds will become. Found a pretty good tipper also Willytip.com. If you get the chance have a gander.

    Just dreadful.
They reduced my limits on sports to just peanuts a couple of years ago and then last year started rejecting my race bets.
When I pointed out to them that their rules (as required by their NT regulator) required them to bet me to win at least $1000 they argued that didn't apply if they decided I wasn't to be permitted to bet at fixed odds. When I had the temerity to complain about them to the regulator they closed my account. Coincidentally? IAS also closed my account around the same time.

I think their site is the easiest to use and they have great promos especially the footy tipping comps. Never had a problem getting paid out within 2 business days to my account either. I will continue to use them as one of my bookies.

If you are a casual punter who likes stupid promotions and small bets Sportsbet might be ok but if you study form and want to have a decent bet, don’t bother with them. If you back as little as two winners in a row at top price, you will find yourself severely and permanently restricted in the amount you can win on any bet (as low as $100). All of the corporate bookies will do this, but Sportsbet is the quickest to limit or ban if you are a winner. Even if you specialise in form study in one area, the limit will apply across the board. This restriction will happen without warning or reasons. Don’t bother complaining to them or to the NT administrators, who are a joke and want to protect bookies and not give punters a fair go. Sportsbet only want mugs and losers and are a waste of time if you are in any way a serious punter. It is a mystery to me why this and other online gambling comparison sites rate them so highly.

I agree with you, as bet365 and many others, they detest winners, so if you are still there, that means you a still losing ........
