At long last the AFL finals are upon us. Collingwood remain firm favourites despite their heavy loss to Geelong in the dead rubber last week.

Links to Andy's (http://www.aussportsbetting.com/category/afl/) previews and tips will be posted here when they become available.

Below are latest the fixture and Premiership winner odds (subject to change).

Below are some comments on this weekend's action from the team at IASbet (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/bet/australian-rules/).

Finally the serious action takes place. It starts with the Cats ($1.72) against the Hawks ($2.15) in a big one at the 'G. The Cats have always found enough in recent years to beat the Hawks in what are always tight contests. Hard to know if last week's walkover against the Pies was good preparation for the Cats, but punters have them slight favourites. The keys for the Hawks are Buddy and Cyril who can set a match alight. This should be a beauty and for those looking to enjoy our Tri Bet bonus on the match, either team under 15.5 points ($2.60) looks a good bet.

On Saturday the Pies ($1.22) will bounce back quickly and prove a huge obstacle for the Eagles ($4.25). Expect the Pies to come out hard and the Quarter by Quarter Leader odds of $1.73 to see them leading at each break looks nice value.

The Saints ($1.40) are warm favourites to handle the Swans ($2.95) in their elimination final at Etihad where they play their best footy. The Swans are in good nick and shouldn't be underestimated. The line start of +17.5 is worth thought and a win is definitely not out of the question.

Huge knockout final between the Blues ($1.40) and Bombers ($2.95), this should be a cracking battle. The pressure and expectation is on the Blues to proceed to the next week of play. With Judd, Murphy and co to win the battle of the midfields, the Blues look to have another week in them.

That's a nice price on the total! Best of luck Andy, horrible Melbourne evening, high scoring game is unlikely imo. Think the Cats may win by a fair margin again though. They play in the wet/wind better and Hawks have 8 players or so with a week off who have to jump back into the tempo of AFL footy, in the finals. Hawks have to be at 100% or they get overrun.
