    NFL - Week 4

In case having the NRL and AFL Grand finals along with the Rugby World Cup isn't enough entertainment this weekend, the NFL continues with Week 4. After picking up his first win of his rookie season, quarterback Cam Newton faces a stern challenge when the Panthers take on the Bears. The high flying Bills face the Bengals, while the Patriots will aim to make amends for last week when they take on the Raiders. In what is arguably the most lopsided game of the round, the Green Bay Packers start as 1.16 favourites against the Denver Broncos, while the 0-3 Colts will start as 5.00 outsiders against the Buccaneers.

Below are the latest odds (subject to change):

I'm still abstaining from betting on the NFL until I can better gauge the performance of America's pundits. As before, here are their picks for the round.

For winner picks, which aren't necessarily betting suggestions, all five agreed on:

    New Orleans (1.31)
    Philadelphia (1.23)
    St Louis (2.10) <-- over 2.00 odds!
    Atlanta (1.45)
    Green Bay (1.16)
    San Diego (1.30)
    Tampa Bay (1.18)

    For the line picks:

    New Orleans (-7.5)
    St Louis (+1.5)
    Oakland (+5.5)

The best pundit has a 32-16 record for line betting so far!
