Below are some comments on the weekend's racing from the traders at IASbet.

Caulfield Stakes - Race 5 (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/betting/horses-aus-nz/caulfield/race-5-88930.html)
Interesting race with the majority of runners having their preparatory run before the Cox Plate, while Mighty High and At First Sight will likely head to the Caulfield Cup. At First Sight ($7.00) ran super last start behind December Draw. Can definitely place here and has a winning chance. He?s a rapid improver. Alcopop ($7.50) looks set for a big run and has peaked on this day last two years. Sincero ($7.00) is on the quick back up and is nice odds for a horse with his record. Lion Tamer ($3.70) maps well and has been well supported by punters. Lights Of Heaven ($13.00) shouldn?t be ruled out. Nolen is back on and they?ve played around with her gear for this race.

Toorak Handicap - Race 6 (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/betting/horses-aus-nz/caulfield/race-6-88931.html)
Historically this race has been dominated by light weighted 4 and 5 year olds. Going with Fast Clip ($6.50) on top. He has the blinkers back on, should lead and has a terrific winning chance with only 53kg. King?s Rose ($4.80) was scratched last week but has drawn well and her form has been excellent. Luen Yat Forever ($6.00) gets his chance to win a Group 1 in Australia. He was unlucky in the Rupert Clarke but found the line well and has finally drawn a good alley. Torio?s Quest ($9.00) is a chance on best form, slightly query about having 4 weeks between runs, while the lightly raced mare Dreamaway ($17.00) looks great value. She was luckless last start and has great acceleration.

Caulfield Guineas - Race 7 (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/betting/horses-aus-nz/caulfield/race-7-88154.html)
Fantastic race with the Sydney horses making this a very classy edition. Helmet ($2.60) returned an incredibly high rating in the Prelude running super time. If he reproduces that performance he?ll win again. Manawanui ($5.00) is the lesser profiled Sydney visitor but he did win the Golden Rose, defeating his two main rivals here. He looks good value and will give his fans a great sight. Smart Missile ($3.30) has the winkers on. He was luckless last start, has drawn a good alley in a small field and looks primed to show his best. Chase The Rainbow ($8.00) is racing well and would be favourite in an average version of this race but this is no average year and hard to see him conquering the other three.
