The following comments are from the traders at IASbet (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3O77L7zifyVX2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1).

Doomben Cup – Race 7 (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/betting/horses-aus-nz/doomben/race-7-291115.html)

Expect a moderate pace tempo with Triple Honour crossing to lead from Manighar, Shez Sinsational, Lights Of Heaven and Mawingo. One way traffic here with punters very keen on Manighar ($2.30). He is a deserved favourite having three consecutive Group One victories this preparation. The only negative is that the BMW was his target race and he is here as an afterthought. The mares Shez Sinsational ($5) and Lights Of Heaven ($5.50) have both specifically targeted this event and look well placed to be super competitive. German import Mawingo ($7.50) is the wildcard, he gains the services of Nash Rawiller, should settle towards the front and must be respected.

BRC Sprint – Doomben Race 8 (http://record.iasbetaffiliates.com/_SUPLHJFRM3OmKyjKP6IsY2Nd7ZgqdRLk/1/betting/horses-aus-nz/doomben/race-8-291116.html)

Nice race with plenty of hopes. Smokin’ Joey ($3.30) and Tiger Tees ($5.50) having a preparatory run before the Stradbroke. Good speed in the race with Listen Son ($31), Dusty Star ($10), Tiger Tees and Celtic Dancer ($34)all going forward. Looking down the weights for the winner, three year old Free Wheeling ($3.60) comes off dominant win last start, drops 4.5kg for this and looks very well placed. Carry Me Bluey ($7.50) is also very well suited by the speed in this race and looks ready to peak third up following his terrific run in the PM’s Cup where he made a terrific run late on inferior ground.
