The British and Irish Lions’ impressive tour so far has punters growing in confidence the visitors are on track to clean sweep the Wallabies in their three-Test series.

The Lions have been heavily supported from $5 into $3.15 to defeat the Wallabies 3-0.

Punters have also slashed the Lions’ odds of winning the series against Australia from $1.80 into $1.60, while the Wallabies have drifted from $2.10 out to $2.45.

“After each tour match we’ve taken significant money for the Lions to beat the Wallabies and punters are even more confident after their 64 point thrashing of Combined Country,” said Sportingbet Australia (http://www.sportingbet.com.au/partners.asp?btag=a_806b_464) spokesman Andrew Brown.

One Sportingbet punter wagered $2,500 on the Lions at odds of $9 to win all ten of their tour matches, with that option now a $3.50 chance.

The Lions are $1.60 to win the 1st test at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 22 June, with the Wallabies at $2.30.

The British and Irish Lions may be undefeated on their 2013 tour, but that hasn’t stopped punters from supporting the Brumbies at long odds to defeat the visitors at Canberra Stadium tonight.

The Brumbies have been backed from $6.00 into $4.70, while the Lions’ odds of victory have drifted from $1.13 out to $1.20.

“It’s a second-string Lions team so punters are sniffing an upset and they are rallying behind the Brumbies,” Sportingbet Australia (http://www.sportingbet.com.au/partners.asp?btag=a_806b_464) spokesman Andrew Brown said.

“We’ve taken a few four-figure bets on the Brumbies to win with the points start but we’ve also taken a stack of $400 and $500 bets on the Brumbies to win,” Brown said.

The British and Irish Lions have been well supported to win the series against the Wallabies though, with their odds of series victory being slashed from $1.80 into $1.55. Australia is $2.55, while a drawn series is $26.00.

“There’s also been plenty of interest in the Lions sweeping the Wallabies 3-0 and we’ve cut those odds from $5 into $3.15,” Brown said.

The Lions are $1.60 favourites to win the opening test in Brisbane on Saturday night, with Australia $2.30.

The British and Irish Lions may have blown the chance of winning all ten of their tour matches by going down 14 to 12 to the ACT Brumbies last night, but punters continue to rally behind the visitors to win the first test against the Wallabies on Saturday night.

“There’s been no reaction at all to the loss from our punters as they’re fully aware it will be a completely different side that lines up against Australia in Brisbane,” Sportingbet Australia (http://www.sportingbet.com.au/partners.asp?btag=a_806b_464)spokesman Andrew Brown said.

“The Lions have been supported from $1.65 into $1.60 to win the first test and their odds of winning the series have been cut from $1.80 to $1.55,” Brown said.

The Wallabies are $2.30 outsiders to win the first test, and $2.55 to win the series. A drawn series is $26.00.

The Lions have also been heavily supported from $5.00 into $3.25 to win the series against the Wallabies 3-0.

The Wallabies have been well supported into outright favouritism to defeat the British and Irish Lions in Sydney on Saturday night and record an historic series victory over the tourists.

The Wallabies and Lions opened as $1.91 equal favourites, but the Wallabies have since been backed into clear $1.77 favourites. The Lions’ odds of winning the third test have drifted from $1.91 out to $2.08.

“The Wallabies were crunched into $1.82 after Lions captain Sam Warburton was ruled out and they’ve firmed again since James Horwill was cleared to play,” Sportingbet Australia (http://www.sportingbet.com.au/partners.asp?btag=a_806b_464) spokesman Andrew Brown said.

“This is the first time the Lions have been outsiders in their ten matches this tour,” Brown said.

A draw is $23.
