Leagues One & Two: Round 6

I've been enjoying some success with the lower divisions this season, so I thought I'd share my thoughts for round 6. The lower divisions continue to kick on despite the international break due to the lack of intl commitments for these players.

    League One:
    Sheffield Utd v Bury @ 1.74
    Tranmere v Yeovil @ 1.84

    League Two:
    Burton Albion v Plymouth @ 1.65

Some slightly riskier League Two punts are:

    Swindon v Rotherham @ 2.90 (+0.5 @1.61 is also worth considering)
    Hereford v Dag & Red @ 2.40 (+0.5 @1.42 is also worth considering)

It's not a happy time for Plymouth fans. Senior players at Plymouth Argyle are considering not playing this weekend against Burton Albion because they have not been paid! They will send a side out but it is not known yet which senior professionals will be involved.

Will be interesting to see how you go qtip.

My focus is currently on the Championship and the Premier League.

I'm doing pretty well for the season after backing Derby heavily in round 4.

Looks like Manchester bets are the way to go this season (famous last words ).

    Update:

I wagered $4 on each outcome bar one, which I didn't bet on.

    League One:

    Sheffield Utd v Bury @ 1.74 -- Sheffield Utd won 4-0 -- winning bet
    Tranmere v Yeovil @ 1.84 -- 0-0 draw -- bet refunded (bookmaker promotion)

    League Two:

    Burton Albion v Plymouth @ 1.65 -- Burton Albion won 2-1 -- winning bet
    Swindon v Rotherham @ 2.90 -- Rotherham lost 3-2 -- losing bet

    Bet I chickened out of:

    Hereford v Dag & Red @ 2.40 -- Hereford won 1-0 -- would have been a losing bet

    Total wagers: 4 x $4 = $16
    Net profit: $1.48

Not bad. Not great. The bookmaker promotion saved me from a losing round. You guys did well to sit on the sideline!
