    Weekend racing preview

The following is courtesy of the team at IASbet.

Rosehill - Golden Rose (Race 5)

Great field with some talented three year olds assembled. Smart Missile ($1.95) is the top pick here. He's undefeated, will go back to last in this small field and run on strongly using his brilliant turn of foot. However, team Snowden have other ideas and have fitted Helmet ($3.50) with blinkers for this. Expect him to lead and be very hard to run down, he'll be improved second up and should make this an interesting race for the favourite. Manawanui ($7.00) scored a big win first up and showed he has some good ability. Aeronautical ($9.00) has had two breathtaking wins at Randwick, this is a step up in class but he looks untapped.

    Rosehill - Sebring Sprint (Race 6) - First4 20% bonus on winnings!
This is a good race with plenty of chances. Pinwheel ($5.00) and Ilovethiscity ($4.00) are the best horses in the race, but under these conditions, have a big task with their weights. First pick is Fast Clip ($6.00) who races on the speed, made good improvement last preparation and can run well here with only 52.5kg. Foreteller ($7.50) has a great chance at nice odds. Last time over 1800m he struggled, he's since been freshened, back to 1300m and can drop out, get a smother and accelerate late to have a shot at the leaders. Torio's Quest ($7.00) has had a brief let up since his Brisbane campaign but should have residual fitness and with G Boss can figure. Pinwheel and Ilovethiscity have to be included, just a little risky at the short prices.

Moonee Valley - Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes (Race 7)
There is not much speed in this race. Spacecraft and Magical Pearl to go forward, Cabeza to sit just off them. Whobegotyou ($1.50) to settle back in the field, is top pick, he loves this track, has won the past two editions of this race and despite the slow pace, he faces a weaker field this year and has the necessary acceleration to win again. Rekindled Interest ($7.00) has come back well and looks to be Cox Plate bound so expect another competitive run here. Linton ($10.00) has drawn a little awkwardly and might need some luck from inside. Alcopop ($12.00) looks to be back to his best form and expect him to be running on.
