    PGA Golf: RSM Classic

    PGA Golf: RSM Classic

Kevin Kisner leads after 54 holes by three strokes and he is obviously at the very top of his game and will not be winning out of turn after finishing second at the HSBC Champions event last week.

However, he has played his best golf from off the pace on Sunday, shot very low yesterday and it is terribly difficult to do so on both days over the weekend at a PGA event and most importantly, Kisner is a non winner. It is hard to win on Tour and the most difficult title any golfer ever wins is their first and not only has he yet to break his duck, but he has finished second four times, never third, never first, but runner up four times and that kind of thing can get inside and mess with your head. Even worse, he has lost three times in playoffs ! Not saying that he cannot win, but three strokes can disappear in a blink of an eye on Sunday on Tour and I doubt Kisner slept as well as some of the golfers behind him on the leaderboard.

I would like to LAY Kisner at up to 1.80, you can do so at circa 1.68-1.70 on Betfair currently, at 1.80 it means we get 2.25 for him not to win and that looks ok to me, as I can see three potential winners immedietely behind him on the leaderboard. Someone will ask, so to repeat, I am suggesting Kisner NOT to win. If you wanted to just bet someone to win, Graeme McDowell is the classiest golfer on the leaderboard and overdue a win on US soil, he is four back, but that will not worry him, he won in Mexico last week and his US Open victory came just two weeks after a European Tour win, so back to back is not an issue. The Ulsterman is a 14 time winner and he will want to take his share of the limelight with countryman Rory McIlroy doing likewise with his run at the European event.

You can lay Kiner and you opt for G-Mac at a general 7.0-7.50.
