    Foreign Bookies

    Hi there

Im new to the forum and was wondering if it is possible for Aussies to open bookie accounts in the UK?

I do a fair bit of betting on UK racing and their bookies open up odds far earlier than ours do which would allow me to get my bets on at a better price.

They also have bookies that offer fixed price or top tote which ever is greater which is a product i bloody love.

If I have posted this in the wrong area Sorry

    Cheers

    Hi Layer,

Unfortunately the majority - if not all - of the large UK bookmakers don't accept Australian members. You may be able to find a smaller bookmaker that does, though. Another option is to go for a UK-owned bookmaker that has an Australian licence, because then you get the double benefit of a local bookmaker that accepts POLi, etc., as well as half decent UK horse racing options (admittedly not as good as what you get in the UK). Some options in that category are William Hill, bet365 and Ladbrokes, all of which offer fixed odds.

      HI Layer, and welcome!
Did you try set up an account through an Agent? Also you can use VPN services, if you try to access bookmakers sites from restricted areas.
