    AFL 2021 discussion

The following is a media release from Sportsbet:

Geelong has firmed into clear second favourite to win the AFL Premiership with Sportsbet.

The Cats were equal, at $7.00, with Brisbane and Port Adelaide, but they have now firmed into $5.50.

Premiership favourites, Richmond has eased from $4.00 out to $4.50. The Tigers are $1.33 to win Thursday’s season-opener against Carlton ($3.37).

Here’s some more AFL betting news.

    - Carlton are $2.37 to finish in the top eight.

    - Lachie Neale has firmed from $6 into $5 to win the Brownlow Medal.

    - Matt Rowell ($34 into $17) is the best backed for the Brownlow.

    - North Melbourne is $2.25 to win the Wooden Spoon.

"Just a few days out from the start of the season and punters are starting to throw their money around. Especially Cat’s supporters, they have been supported and are now the best backed team to win the Flag,’’ said sportsbet.com.au's Rich Hummerston.
