    Graph question

    Hi

Is it possible to show the performance graph for individual tipsters only?

Hi Prime, yes it is possible.

Unlock the Bets worksheet using the password sport.

Scroll to the right in the Bets worksheet until you find the "Used For Performance Graph" columns. Insert a new column to the right of Profit. If the new column is, say BJ, then in cell BJ9 (to the right of the word Profit) enter the name of the tipster you wish to graph. Enter 0 in the first cell below it (most likely BJ10). Then for cell BJ11 use the formula:

    =IF(AND(N11<>"M",F11=BJ$9),BJ10+W11,BJ10)
(if Win column value isn't "M" and if the tipster value for the bet equals the value in cell BJ9...)

Then extend this formula down for the remaining cells. The fastest way is to select cell BJ11 and then double click on the small box that appears in the right hand corner of the cell.

You now have the data required for the graph. Highlight the cells in columns BH-BJ (including row 9) and create a new graph: Insert -> Charts -> Scatter -> Scatter With Straight lines. If you want the chart as a separate sheet, right click on it and select Move Chart -> New Sheet.

Each time you wish to change the graph's tipster, simply change the value in cell BJ9 and the graph will be redrawn.

Keep in mind that the exact cells in the instructions above may vary depending on your spreadsheet version and whether you've made tweaks to the Bets worksheet.
