    Weekend racing preview

    1,000 Guineas Prelude - Caulfield Race 6
Very strong race here, with numerous chances. Hallowell Belle ($3.60) is top pick. With Sepoy not running this time, she's drawn to get the perfect run. The 1400m looks ideal. Celebrity Girl ($3.60) bolted in at Flemington and looks very talented. Mosheen ($4.80) is also back to fillies class and should be nearing her peak. Rough place chance at nice odds to WA filly Bliss Street ($19.00) who ran well at Moonee Valley and will appreciate this trip.

Underwood Stakes - Caulfield Race 7
There are a stack of chances here. Scarlett Lady ($6.00) is on top based on her impressive first up performance in New Zealand where she ran on well on a leaders track. She'll be charging home late and 1800m looks perfect for her. Heart Of Dreams ($6.00) won this race two years back and will get a good run from his barrier to sit just outside the lead. Glass Harmonium ($5.00) probably leads with a slow tempo. He ran on very well first up when covering ground. Lights Of Heaven ($5.00) faces d-day here. She'll have the blinkers on and needs to prove she's worthy of racing at WFA level.

George Main Stakes - Rosehill Race 5
Gathering ($9.00) runs his best races when he can control the tempo and he should do that here and take some running down. Triple Elegance ($10.00) hasn't reached his best since the autumn, but gets his chance here on a dry track and he maps well.

Sincero ($2.25) was terrific first up carrying a big weight to win the Tramway. He'll be a short fave in this, but from the barrier might be forced to race wide outside the lead which is against his preferred pattern, just a slight query at the price and second up. Ilovethiscity ($4.80) has targeted this race and he backs up from last week, where he had excuses. With the blinkers on, he is third up and expect a big showing here but will need to be ridden to perfection to use his short but brilliant sprint. Sacred Choice ($7.50) has blinkers added, but prefers soft conditions, while Do Ra Mi ($13.00) is a watch runner, brought here from Melbourne by Peter Moody, so must be respected, despite only racing fairly this time in.
