    AFL Preliminary Finals

The AFL preliminary finals kick off on Friday when Collingwood host Hawthorn. Geelong then take on West Coast on Saturday. The bookmakers fancy a Collingwood vs Geelong final, giving the home sides 1.26 and 1.19 head-to-head odds, respectively.

The AFL forum has been pretty quiet lately, so let's get a bit of debate happening for this weekend. Anyone else with thoughts for the matches tonight and tomorrow?

I'm backing both Collingwood and Geelong to win by 37+. Just need one to get up.

For both Collingwood and Geelong, if they play to their potential they'll win. Just comes down to form on the day. Both have had some poor games this season, but I back them here given that everything's on the line.

How close did the Magpies cut it last night? I saw the live odds and had been tempted to back them at around 3.75 in the last quarter, but got distracted and missed out.

Hopefully Geelong can finish off the Eagles to help your second 37+ get up qtip.

Good work qtip! Cats did it easily. Pies struggled against Hawthorn's intensity. They only came into the game when they manned up Hawthorn's loose man and played with a 7 man forward line. Huge game next week now.
