    Turning Off Yellow Pop-Up Messages

thank you very much for this excellent workbook.

Can you please tell me how to turn off the yellow pop-up messages on the Bets tab. They tend to get in my way.

    Again, many thanks for this.

Hi Andy, thanks for the positive feedback.

If you scroll down the sheet before entering data - so that the input cells are closer to the centre of your screen) - the pop-up messages will be displayed below the box rather than in the way.

If you would like to remove the messages altogether, unlock the Bets sheet using the password sport (Review -> Unprotect sheet) and repeat the following for each column:

    - Highlight the input cells in the column
    - In the main menu, select Data -> Data Validation -> Data Validation
    - In the Input Message tab, uncheck the box next to 'Show input message when cell is selected'

You can optionally protect the sheet again using Review -> Protect sheet.

      Perfect, thank you very much.

I wanted to turn it off because I am familiar with the work sheet now, and the pop up gets in the way more than it helps now.

      Again, awesome workbook! Cheers.
