Trouble with 'Odds' column on bet sheet

Let me start off by saying that I have been using this spreadsheet for about 4 hours and it has been my favorite so far. I do have one problem, though. When I type the odds (American) into the odds column, either a bunch of pound signs appear, or a random date. I have the odds set to US under the settings, I am just not sure if I am typing it wrong, or if there was something I missed.

Let me add: The calculations are still correct, it just doesn't display them correctly.

If the odds are being displayed in a strange manner, I recommend you unlock the Bets sheet (see Intro sheet for instructions). Then highlight the odds column, right click -> Format Cells, and set the cells to display the odds in a manner that suits you (set the type/category to Number, etc).
