Would You Use a Tool that Auto-Tracks Your Bets & Shows Best Aus Odds in Real Time?

    Hey crew,

I’m kicking around an idea for a side project and wanted to sanity-check it with people who actually bet every week. Nothing is built yet—just sketches and some API tests—but here’s the concept:

    What the tool would do
    • Automatic bet capture—plug in your Gmail or drop a CSV, and every Sportsbet/TAB/Ladbrokes ticket lands in one ledger, no typing.
    • Live bankroll & ROI dashboard—bankroll balance, true ROI, and closing-line value charts that update the moment a market settles.
    • Edge notifications—if a market drifts and you’re looking at a ≥4% overlay, you’d get a prompt.
    • Best-Price board—side-by-side odds for the major books + Betfair SP so you can spot the top price before clicking “Place Bet.”
    • One-click export—PDF/CSV ledger you could hand to a bank, Centrelink, or an accountant if you ever slid into “professional” territory.

Why I think it might help
    • Spreadsheets are a pain and usually wrong.
    • I (and plenty of mates) have accepted 1.85 when 1.93 was two tabs away.
    • Lenders and banks are starting to ask for verifiable wagering records.
    • It would be data-only—no pick selling, no “bonus bet” spam—so it stays clear of inducement rules.

What I’d love to hear from you (no need to answer all—any feedback would be appreciated)
    1. Would seeing live ROI/CLV actually change how you stake—or just confirm suspicions?
    2. Would a built-in “best odds” screen save you effort, or do you enjoy manual price shopping?
    3. If a service like this existed, what must-have features would make you pay a small sub fee (open to suggestions on how much per month you think it would be worth)?
    4. Any red flags I haven’t thought of (compliance, privacy, etc.)?
    5. If you would be interested in being an early tester at a drastically reduced price?
    Quick housekeeping

    • Intending to run it through an AU server + privacy best practice.
    • Would include self-exclusion and loss-limit settings from day one.
    • Again, this is just an idea stage—no beta, no signup link, no sales pitch.

Thanks in advance for any blunt feedback, even if it’s “Mate, no one cares.” Better to find out now!

    Cheers,

    Wazza
