Sportingbet Australia punters are confident that the Jason Warren trained Bel Sprinter can make it five wins on end in tomorrow’s Bobbie Lewis Quality at Flemington.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said Bel Sprinter had been backed in from $4.00 to $3.70 with bets including one of $10,000.
“Punters clearly thought the $4.00 was good value as we took one bet of $10,000, another of $5000 and a couple of $2000 almost as soon as markets went up,” said Sullivan.
“The gelding has been super impressive so far and there’s plenty of money to say he can go right on with the job.”
The Mick Price trained Doubleanny has been the big drifter, with her odds moving from $4.40 to $6.00, despite a record of six wins from seven starts over this course and distance.
