I've never really been a racing fan, but man has Black Caviar caught my attention. I've been a bit late to join the bandwagon after only watching her 12th, 13th and 14th races live.
Now that she has equalled Phar Lap's record of 14 race wins in a row, is it now fair to compare the two horses in terms of the way they've captured public attention? I can't compare them as horses, sprinters, etc., because I don't know enough about horse racing, but for someone like me to have heard of her is something! Makybe Diva is one of the few other horses I can name, which says everything about my knowledge of horse racing!
