    NFL - Week 12

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, Week 12 of the NFL is more spread out this week. There are three games on Thursday, then the bulk of the fixtures on Sunday and finally Monday Night Football. The week starts with what is expected to be a high scoring affair when the Packers visit the Lions. After a 0-7 start to the season, the Dolphins have won three on the trot, but face a stern test when they visit the Cowboys, who are also on a three game winning streak. One of the surprises of the season have been the San Francisco 49ers, who boast a 9-1 record as they dominate the NFC West. They are odds on for their second loss of the season, however, when they visit the Ravens, who lead the AFC North. At the other end of the spectrum, the 2-8 Panthers visit the 0-10 Colts. Bookmakers predict that Cam Newton can get the Panthers over the line, which will probably suit the Colts if they are keen on securing the first pick in the draft for next year. The NY Jets will start as 1.22 favourites when they host the Bills. The AFC East rivals both have a 5-5 record behind the 7-3 Patriots, so a victory is absolutely critical for both sides. The Eagles' season doesn't get any easier when they host the Patriots. The Eagles performed well to upset the Giants last week, but with a 4-6 record, they virtually have to win every game for the rest of the season to secure playoff football. On Monday Night Football the NY Giants visit the New Orleans Saints. The Giants will be licking their wounds after losing last week to an Eagles team that was playing without starting QB Michael Vick. They sit second in the NFC East with a 6-4 record, and a loss on Monday would put them under immense pressure to reach the playoffs.
