Matchday five of the UEFA Champions League will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday night (local time). Real Madrid, AC Milan and Barcelona have already secured a place in the round of 16, while Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern München and Inter Milan could possibly confirm their places by the conclusion of matchday five.
In one of the highlights of the round, Manchester City visit Napoli in what appears to be a straight knockout tie in Group A. Napoli drew Manchester City 1-1 on matchday one, and boast a formidable recent home record in Europe, having being unbeaten in ten matches. The last foreign team to prevail in Naples were Eintracht Frankfurt in December 1994!
In Group C, Manchester United will look to secure passage to the knockout stage for the sixth consecutive season when they host Benfica, who held them to a 1-1 draw in Lisbon on matchday one.
In Group E, Ballack will return to his old stomping ground when he and Bayer Leverkusen visit Chelsea. With Valencia also in this tight group, both sides will be desperate to avoid defeat.
