Tottenham got their 1st win of the Premier League in nice fashion winning away and beating down Reading 3-0. It was a much needed win for Tottenham manager Villas- Boas who was on the verge of being fired as skipper has a lot to be thankful for starting with thanking stud striker Jermaine Defoe. Tottenham got 2 goals from Jermaine Defoe at the 18’ and 74’. Queens Park Rangers Preview
As if things couldn’t get worse for Queens Park. Not only did they come off an equalizer at home to Chelsea last week but, lost star striker Andrew Johnson for the rest. Johnson tore is ACL before half time of the match. As far as the match it was evenly match from shots on goal 12(3) QPR to Chelsea 12(3) and time of possession went to QPR 53% to Chelsea’s 47%.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Queens Park Rangers Predictions: 2-1
Tottenham will try this at home again but, the good thing is I have them 2-1 in a close match of QPR. Without Andy Johnson this will be a tough one on the road for QPR and playing at home will be a great thing for Tottenham.

Manchester City’s match (A) 0-0 equalizer against Stoke City was a disappointment. It was Asmir Begovic late save from Ryan Shaw cross that just cleared the line. Arsenal Preview

Arsenal looked just as good on the defensive side with Liverpool taking 19(4) shots on goal. Arsenal currently sits in 3rd place in the Barclays with a 2 win-2 Draw and no losses.
Manchester City vs Arsenal Predictions: 2-2
This is a much needed win for both teams. Manchester and Arsenal both have 2 draws already under their belts. Even more so, Manchester City needs this to stay abreast with the elites. I see this being a well-played and exciting match unfortunately these teams will walk away with a draw.

This was a tough call but with Liverpool playing at home I think they can pull off the unthinkable and stun Manchester United. The home crowd will be a key factor in this match but, more important Liverpool has to bring their A game to tack the giant in Manchester.

Wigan Athletic Preview
At first Wigan’s match looked like it was going it to be a stale mate until Manchester United opened up in the second half and scored 4 goals. This match was a blood bath after the 45 minute mark when United took it into over drive. Wigan just looked completely lost in the 2nd half giving up 20(5) shots on goal to their own 7(1). Time of possession was relatively close 52% to 48% for Wigan. In a nutshell, Wigan couldn’t hold a glass of water.
Fulham Preview
Fulham comes into this match with a great win over West Ham (h) blanking them 3-0. Fulham’s Berbatov celebrated in high fashion scoring 2 goals in his debut while mid fielder Steve Sewell added the 3rd. Wigan Athletic vs Fulham Predictions: 2-1
Wigan Athletic playing at home will have an impact on them let alone the beat down they took from Man U should be enough fire to beat Fulham though this match will be very close. I believe the home field will play a major role in the win for Wigan. Look for an exciting match in this one.

West Ham did themselves no justice by locking up a draw against Norwich City. West Ham had an opportunity to move up in the rankings in the Premier League instead they stand right in the middle of the pack. The crazy thing is it should have been an easy win against Norwich who has yet to get a win in Barclays. West Ham had fewer shots on goal 14(3) to Norwich’s 25(10) but West Ham controlled the time of possession 51% to Norwich’s 49%. Next up for West Ham will be Sunderland.
Sunderland Preview
Sunderland also comes off of a draw 1-1 against Liverpool thanks to Liverpool’s Luis Suarez who caused the equalizer denying Sunderland. Sunderland could have taken the lead as they were awarded at the 20 min mark but Sebastian Larsson curled it off the box just a bit wide of the post. Liverpool dominated the shots on goal 23(6) to Sunderland’s 7(1) time of possession was also gobbled up by Liverpool 66% to 33%. Sunderland was more efficient unfortunately it wasn’t their day.
West Ham United vs Sunderland Predictions: 3-0
West Ham will look to make a statement in this game after coming off of a draw. They’ll look to punish Sunderland in front of their home crowd and as I see it it will be an opportune time to do so. Look for West Ham to dominate from start to finish.

West Brom visited Fulham only to get bloviated 3-0. Fulham’s striker Dimitar Berbatov scored on a pair of goals made it a great debut for the Bulgarian. Fulham completely dominated WBA from start to finish never giving the visitors a chance. Fulham dominated WBA on the shots on goal 23(10) to WBA 10(5). Fulham’s time of possession vs. WBA’s 37%. This was a match that West Brom wish they could take back.
Reading Preview
Reading is set to play Tottenham tonight which should be a very entertaining match. Reading comes off of their last win against Peterborough 3-2 in the Capital One Cup. Reading is looking for their 1st win in the Premier League and they just might have their best opportunity against West Brom. Reading sits 2nd to last and they know this is a much needed win for them.
W.B.A vs Reading Predictions: 3-2
Playing at home will make all the difference in the world. West Brom is looking for payback after suffering their mental lapse from Fulham. I can see this though being a close match as Reading can’t afford to laydown. WBA currently sits at 5th place in the standings and with this match they will look to advance.

Southampton Preview
Southampton took a bad beating from Arsenal losing 6-1(Yes! That was the score in yesterdays match) as Southampton remains at the bottom of the pack. Arsenal jumped out to a 4-0 lead and then finished off with 2 goals in the second half. The visiting Southampton looked like a deer caught looking at the headlights just completely lost. Southampton plays no defense what so ever and I don’t wonder why they are at the bottom of the standings.
Aston Villa Preview
Manager Paul Lambert couldn’t find a better time to get his 1st win then yesterday as Aston Villa shut out Swansea City making it their 1st win in 13 tries going back to March 10th 2012. Their scores came from newly signed Matthew Lowton and Christian Benteke. Benteke just recently transferred from Genk. Aston Villa definitely looks like a new team also well prepared to really compete in the Barclay’s Premier League.
Southampton vs Aston Villa Predictions: 2-1
Southampton playing at home will comeback from their embarrassing loss yesterday. I see this match close but well fought out. This is a match that Southampton must win to get out of the doghouse.

Despite the key injuries for Newcastle the fact that they are at home and also that they are playing a dismal Norwich City is enough for Newcastle to pull a win out. The fact is Norwich City is horrible so, it allows Newcastle United some breathing room.

Chelsea Preview
Chelsea comes into this match after a long rest (last match played August 31) against Atletico Madrid (H). That match was one for Chelsea to forget after suffering an embarrassing loss 1-4 in front of their home crowd and Super Cup on the line. The Blues looked like they forgot what got them their looking completely loss in that match. Hopefully, we’ll see a much more lively team when they face Stoke City.
