Got to fancy Shane Lowry to go well at this year's Open Championship, looks like rain and a bit of wind at the weekend which he can handle. Took 33/1.

I also like to go wide for the Open Championship. I enjoy betting during the tournament as the weather unfolds. My best ever win was backing Louis Oosthuizen in 2010, purely based on the weather change that was forecast to impact the players with later tee-off times. For this year's tournament I've taken a look at my top three sources for golf picks, but they've all picked a completely different set of players. I will probably wait and then bet in-play. -
Really disappointing from Lowry in the end, led by 3 on the Saturday then went to pieces.Comment
